This complete interior loft renovation of a converted industrial building located just west of the historic Soho district includes a living room, dining room and kitchen in one large open space. The two bedrooms with floor to ceiling industrial steel and glass window walls share a balcony facing the rear light court. In the center of the loft is a rectangular island which houses the two bathrooms, closets, laundry and a study. Existing elements such as the maple flooring, exposed wood joists and exposed brick walls are balanced with new elements such as Homasote and Polygal wall panels edged with aluminum. |
